It was taking control of my own health that inspired me to become a Health Coach.
Whilst I didn’t have any specific illness to speak of, I knew that something wasn’t right – frequent headaches, a sluggish digestive system and feeling tired were just the norm for me, and as I approached 35 I decided that I needed to make some changes.
I quickly began to realise that what I put into my body was essentially what I was getting out, and this is where my passion for natural health began – we really are what we eat!
A few years later the Pandemic hit, I lost my job in the fast-paced events industry and decided that it was time to turn my passion into a career, which is when I found the Health Coach course at the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
I have now graduated, and after taking some time out in India, I’m back, feeling energised and fully committed to sharing my expertise and invaluable personal experience with others – I’ve been there, I know how difficult and daunting it can be to make changes, but I also know how rewarding it is to take control and achieve your health goals. Mind, body and soul.

The Naturopathic Approach
As a Naturopathic health coach I have been trained to look at the whole person. Optimal health and wellbeing doesn’t begin and end with diet, or physical activity even. There are so many other factors involved. On our initial consultation I will take a look at your whole life; from relationships and stress factors, to sleep, diet and exercise; as well as each body system and how well they are functioning.
I will then use this knowledge to guide and empower you to make the necessary diet and lifestyle changes to achieve your goals, one small step at time.
We are all individual so one size won’t fit all, I’m looking to work with you to develop long-term healthy habits that work for you in the areas where you need help, and to facilitate real, lasting change.
I think that most people know what they need to do, but with all the conflicting information out there it can be difficult to know where to begin. I’m here to help you cut through the white noise and make a start on your very own journey to optimum health.

Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food
Food is where it all began for me. After years of fad dieting, calorie counting and fluctuating weight I became tired and began to look for another way. I decided to switch my focus away from weight loss and onto health and nutrition, and that’s when I started to see a real, and (more importantly) permanent change.
As soon as I began to nourish by body with real wholefoods, I lost that deprived ‘on a diet’ feeling and instead I felt energised and eager to learn more.
I now see food as nourishment; Something to provide the vitamins and minerals that I need to thrive, to fight inflammation in my body, to give me energy and build muscle. Food is my medicine.
Through this journey I have developed a real love of cooking, especially (although not exclusively) with plant-based wholefoods. Cooking and sharing food with family and friends is one of life’s simple pleasures, and one of my favourite pastimes.
